Abidal agrees new deal with FC Barcelona
Soccer News : Barcelona extends Abidal’s contract to 2012
Éric Abidal 30-year-old French international fullback has agreed a contract extension with FCBarcelona. 
The new deal lasts until 2010 and retains a 90 million euro buyout clause.
His new contract was signed the day after he returned from flu and injury to help the team defeat Inter Milan in the Champions League.
The former Lille and Monaco defender is the sixth Barcelona player to agree to a contract extension this season.
Before Abidal, the Club negotiated deals with Touré, Valdés, Pedro, Messi and Puyol. Five players vital to the present and future of the Club.
