Think about this: What’s the biggest reason millions of people log onto the internet each day? Simple. To get information. Google alone serves up 500 million searches per day! Why should you care? It means that you have a massive opportunity to give people exactly what they’re looking for – information. And if you do it right . . . to make some money along the way.

Info marketing 101  First, understand that this is the simplest kind of business there is. You develop a product that is nothing more than information. And other people buy this product to get the info. Sounds simple enough, right?  How does it work?  We’ve established that it’s a simple concept. But to make it a successful business you’ve got to provide information people want. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How do you do that?  One very simple method is to do a little research. Just go to Yahoo! answers or ask.com and look at the questions being asked there.

Your goal is to find a common problem. That people are having trouble solving. And solve the problem for them by writing an info product on it.  Think about this:  Don’t worry!  Info product creation  is easy… Consider this: An ebook is just a series of articles. So instead of sitting down to write the whole thing. Just try to write one or two articles a day. And once you have bunch of good ones, flesh them out, add to them and put them together into an ebook.  OK, what’s so hot about digital products? Funny you should ask . . . Here are 7 reasons for you:

1. Simplicity and ease  Once it’s built it runs pretty much on it’s own. And your customers need very little support. So you can just set it up and let it run. It’s like having an automated cash machine.  You have no physical inventory. There’s nothing to ship. It’s digital.

2. Repackaging  When you have a created a few information products. You can put together bigger more expensive information products. It’s a simple matter to merge a few ebooks into one. Then you can sell it for a lot more. People will be willing to pay a lot more for one big ebook. As opposed to a bunch of little ones.

3. Resale rights  When you own the product, you can sell resell rights to it. Recently, resell rights have become extremely popular, because most people simply don’t have the time, money and effort it takes to create their own products. And what’s more you’re selling the same product . . . but for 3 times the price for the rights!

4. Leverage  It’s your content, so you can use it in as many different ways as you want. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. And build an email list that you can sell other products to.

5. More leverage  Don’t stop there . . . break it into several smaller reports. Then you can use the reports as the front-end of your product funnel. You can make these low cost or even free. And it still benefits you because it in a lead-in for the main product. You can even make these viral by allowing your affiliates to give them away. Wait, did I say “affiliates”?

6. Affiliates This is a real power strategy. Once you have your own product. Other people can become your affiliates. How would you like to have an army of affiliates selling your products? You can’t do this unless you have your own product.

7. Joint Ventures  OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. Setting up joint ventures is the fastest way to gain success. Period. And this is probably the number one reason to create your own product. Because if you don’t have you own product, you’ve got nothing to JV.

Summary  If you don’t want to  sell digital products  by now, then you haven’t been paying attention. With your own info product you can write your own ticket. Because you’re 100% in control. So, decide to just start: Head over to Yahoo! answers Find out what people need to know Write about the answers  Don’t make  info product creation  any more complicated than that. And in short time you’ll have the foundation for your own info product.
